The first thing you need to know is that you can use Blackjack counting techniques to successfully beat the game of Blackjack.  The second thing you need to know is that blackjack counting techniques are not just for the super clever people out there.  No, the average person can make use of blackjack counting to win at blackjack.  Anyone can do it if they put aside time to learn and practice the blackjack counting techniques.

Black jack counting has been around for decades and the simplest method involves remembering a single number and having the ability to add or subtract 1 to and from this number.  Even though blackjack counting might be considered illegal by many, it is in fact not illegal.  Casinos also do little to put an end to the myth, and rather encourage it so that people don’t try and make use of this method to gain an advantage when in their casinos.  In most courts throughout the world it has already been ruled that black jack counting is a legal strategy as long as the player is using his or her brain and not an electronic device to help with the counting.

Blackjack is different in that it does depend on previous results.  The reason for this is whenever a round of blackjack is dealt, cards that have been used are put on a pile that is discarded.  This means they are now out of play.  The term for this is a dependent trial game.  In other words, whatever happened in the previous round of blackjack can affect the following rounds.  As an example of how  the results are affected by the previous hands, let’s consider a normal deck of cards.  If in the first hand 4 Kings have been dealt, and then placed on the discarded pile, it means that the following hand dealt will have 4 Kings less.  Therefore with blackjack counting, you are able to increase your ability to know what your odds are of winning at the hand of blackjack that has been dealt by keeping track of previous hands dealt.

Before you go on and learn black jack counting, take one thing into consideration, it does not work with online casinos.  These online casinos use random number generators to shuffle the cards more often than they would in a normal casino.  There is also not a discard tray, so using your blackjack counting with online casinos will not help.
